Cosmetic Dentistry

NHS dental charges from April 2025

Band 1: £27.40 - This covers an examination, diagnosis advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if needed, and an application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant. If you require urgent care, even if your urgent treatment requires more than one appointment to complete, you will only need to pay one band 1 charge.

Band 2: £75.30 - This covers everything listed in band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or if your dentist needs to take out one or more teeth.

Band 3: £326.70 - This covers all of the above-listed in band 1 and 2, plus crowns, dentures and bridges.

Practice Plan

This is a monthly payment scheme which covers for routine dental care, Monthly fees are:-

• 0-5 years - free
• 6-13 years - £8.50 per month
• 14-17 years - £10.00 per month
• 18 + years - £14.50 per month

There is an additional fee of £10.00 administration fee taken with the first direct debit, direct debits are taken on the 8th of each month. Practice plan members are covered for the following each year:-

• 2 dental check-ups
• 2 scale & polish
• All dental X-rays
• All prescriptions (cost of medications to be paid for at the pharmacy)
• Up to 20% off all dental treatments, including cosmetic dentistry

Private Scheme

This scheme is open to all patients who wish to be seen as and when they want with no set re-attendance interval.
